Car #2 2004 Mini Cooper 1.6 - Name: Mary
Now this was my first true love, my first proper motor
Purchased for £1800 with 60k miles on the clock from a small workshop in Callington, they had taken it in from a customer, an elder lady called Mary, which incidentally spawned the name for the car... Mary.
Loved this thing, drove the life out of it and the first car i started 'modding' if you will.
Rally lights, boy racer rear lights, refurbed some MG Wheels myself to go onto it, black pin stripes along side the white stripes.
I was also a member of the Mini Owners Club where she had her own number on the Mini Owners South West Register #130.
In my time with her she had a new clutch, new gearbox and bushes all round. It was with this that that i began to figure out the amazing-ness of Plasti-Dip.
